The Ashford Driving School has 3 experienced driving instructors:
Martin is based just over in Cranbrook and covers Tenterden and many of the villages just outside of Ashford.
Andy Brown
Andy is now our longest serving instructor! Known as 'Mr Fix-it' on the basis he always seems to get pupils fitted in at short notice. He's based in Folkestone but covers The Romney Marsh area which is also covered by the Ashford branch.
Caroline Gilson
Caroline Gilson is based in Hastingleigh so is ideally located for lessons in both Canterbury and Ashford. She opted for a career change a couple of years ago - after nearly 20 years in the television industry - and since then has been working as an ADI, very much enjoying meeting pupils and helping them through their driving tests.
"I try to put pupils at ease and it's lovely to see how they can change just after a few lessons - people who were initially nervous about driving start to really enjoy it".
Caroline is married with two children, Josh 12 and Carys 10. She couldn't resist buying the number plate GJ05HUA ! Any spare time is spent looking after her five self catering cottages with husband Tony.
I enjoy teaching to drive, and it gives me a great job satisfaction to know that am making a small but positive difference to the Driving Standards Agency (DSA) plan of having qualified drivers that can "drive safely for life".
I firmly believe that I am in an equal working partnership with all my pupils, and I will always endeavour to give 100% of my teaching knowledge to all my pupils in each and every lesson.

The Ashford Driving School Operating Area
Ashford is a growing town and we aim to provide driving lessons covering all of Ashford with the best service ever seen in driving instruction.
You can see most of the area we cover on the map, but we also cover Sellinge, most of Romney Marsh, out to Tenterden and up to Charing. The Ashford Driving School also overlaps with the Folkestone, Maidstone and Canterbury branches of The Big Red L Company.
If you live in one of the many outlying places you may find it impractical to learn with just 1 hour per week and we would strongly recommend 2, 3 or 4 hour blocks, you may even consider an intensive driving course.
