We have moved!
Finally - after many years of running this growing business from a home office we have moved into professional accomodation at The Folkestone Enterprise Centre - In fact right next door to the Channel Chamber of Commerce.
At least they will keep an eye on our progress.
Driving lessons in Kent are about to become even more professional - Try us!

| Automatic tuition |

There has been a growing demand for Automatic car tuition for some time.
We are pleased to announce our first automatic car will be based in Folkestone and operated by Robbie Wilde and Tony Simcock.
Both instructors have experience of teaching automatics and look forward to the extra job satisfaction of being involved in helping this particular section of clients.
Sometimes they are older, more nervous or maybe just in a hurry to get a licence!
We want to thank Bryan Coward, our local associate instructor, to whom we have passed many customers over the years for the excellent job he has done with them and we wish him well with his retirement.

| £60,000 schools sponsorship |

| The Big
Red L Company is pleased to announce a deal made with
secondary schools throughout Kent. As part of our
marketing budget we have now offered 200 schools 30 hours of
lessons for them to give away to students as incentives
or prizes. Worth £600 this is a significant contribution
to the life of each school. The take up has been unsurprisingly brisk,
with many schools also booking in the free presentations
on 'starting to drive' and 'getting your first car'.

I can have a positive effect on the students' attitudes to
driving"

| Exhibition with Firstcar and The Big Red L Company |

In conjunction with firstcar.co.uk we ran an exhibition over the last weekend of April.
A phenonemal success with hundreds of very interested potential students.
Our prize draw was entered by over 180 people - the 8 winners were Miss J Cook of
Ticehurst. Miss C Green of Southborough, Mr L Piper of Pembury, Miss M Davies of
Rotherfield, Mrs N Puttock of T/Wells, Mr J Moon of T/Wells, Mr S Preston of T/Wells and Miss D Mackinnon of
Crowborough.
Each of them will receive £50 off driving lessons plus £50 off their car insurance.

| Investors in People |

The Big Red L Company has been investing in it's staff and pupils for years.
We have just been through the Investors in People programme and have been granted full accreditation at our first assessment.
An achievement only made by a small percentage of companies. We also think we are one of the first driving schools in the country to be given the title.
We will be using the award as a base to develop the business further and will enter the Kent Business Awards 2005.
