Working with Comic Relief



The BBC, in conjunction with Comic Relief, produced a programme screened in March 2003 called 'Celebrity Driving School' . The Big Red L Company was asked to teach the one and only Paul O'Grady aka 'Lily Savage'. This impossible task was filmed for a series of 4 programmes culminating on March 14th in conjunction with Comic Relief Evening. Other Celebrities included Gareth Gates and Jade Goody from Big Brother.

Paul O'Grady along with all the others failed their 1st test, but Paul stuck at it and by June 2003 he was the only one of the celebrities to have passed the driving test.

He now wants to learn how to drive HGV's as he wants to deliver aid to Africa (or is it India now?) as part of the events for some future Comic Relief event. The Owner of The Big Red L Company will be working alongside Paul and acting as his navigator!
