Starting
Work and the Trainee Licence
Introduction
The
Trainee Licence Once you have passed the Part
2 exam you will have the option to either start work on what is known as the
Trainee Licence or to wait until you have passed the final Part 3 exam. The
Trainee Licence, or Pink Licence, is valid for 6 months only and allows you to gain experience
with real pupils prior to taking your Part 3 exam. |

Advice
Our advice is
probably to wait as teaching real pupils can often distract you from the way
the Driving Standards Agency are actually looking for you to teach. However, we
will be only too glad to discuss this with you.
