Tony Simcock - Driving Instructor for Folkestone

Tony has been a driving instructor for Folkestone since 1990 and is the owner and founding director of The Big Red L Company. He is the driving force behind the high standards demanded of all Company instructors.

He is actively involved in promoting CPD courses (Continuing Professional Development) within the Driving School Industry.

In January 2005 he passed the exams to be entered onto the DSA Fleet Drivers Register.

He is married with 2 boys; is a director of a local bookshop in Folkestone, director of Seapoint Canoe Centre and Chair of Trustees for What4 an exciting charity project for young people.

Tony still keeps his hand in with the driving lessons in Folkestone area, but only does about 5 hours per week as he's often stuck behind his desk for far more time than he really wants to be!

As an organisational change we have developed a team of driving instructors for Folkestone, working as the Folkestone Driving School under The Big Red L Company banner.
