Not only do I instruct the practical aspects of driving to a pass rate that I am very proud of, but I also take pride in my one to one theory
training, which
although not taken up by every pupil, has helped enormously with those that have.
My aim as an instructor is for my pupils to reach a standard as near to perfect as is possible. This requires great attention to detail all the way through the course while still retaining a friendly, fun environment in the car, which I think is the vital ingredient.
For the successful candidates, I offer what I reckon to be a very comprehensive one day PASS PLUS course. It is built around an excursion to London with quite a few
surprises thrown in.
I became a driving instructor because I love the flexibility and the fact that
no two days are ever the same. I have always been a free spirit and instructing
learner drivers gives me that luxury.
When not instructing, I am a keen musician. As an ex pro Bassist, I like to keep my hand in. I was signed to London Records with the band Lisp releasing the Album "Cycles" in 2000, and played and recorded recently with London outfit Alpenglow. I'm a keen swimmer, an enthusiastic Astronomer (I take an active roll in the newly formed Ashford Astronomical Society) and a staunch fan of West Ham United, being a born and bred Eastender!
